Chess Roguelike Prototype

A prototype for a "Slay the Spire but it's chess" idea I had. The UI is janky cause I just wanted the prototype to be playable.

You start with an army and progress through the map, aquiring new pieces as you defeat fights and in chests and stuff to reinforce your army.

To win a match, capture the enemy Banner (mate) or all enemy non-Banner pieces (bare), and you lose the same way. Hover over a piece to see its movement.

There is no check or checkmate, so be careful you can get your last non-Banner piece captured by the enemy Banner when in normal chess they could not cause of check.

There is also no castling or en passant. And if a chess stalemate somehow occurs (current player has no valid move (very hard cause of no check)) then the stalemated player loses.

Have fun!

Inspiration

Note: I had never heard of The Ouroboros King (Oriol Cosp) before someone told me about it after I already well started this, so it's not an inspiration.
