Some thoughts I wanted to write somewhere about the level of presence of minecraft mods.

I originally wanted to call it "invasiveness" but "presence" feels more neutral.
So imagine this: you get dropped into an unknown minecraft modpack and can't look at the mod list, recipe browser, recipe book, keybinds, advancements, or other similar things.
In this situation, how long would it take you to notice that this modpack contains mod X? And how often will you be reminded of its presence if you don't actively seek it out?
For things like biome mods or worldgen overhauls you'll notice pretty fast and be constantly reminded of them, they have a high presence. Same for things that add common animals or mobs.
For tech or magic mods that add a few resources, like flowers or ores, you'll get a reminder once in a while, so let's say a medium presence.
For some you'd probably only learn they're here if you were looting enchanted books or got a rare dungeon drop, a very low presence.
And for some you would geniunely have no way to know they're here, like small mods where it's just crafting recipes, so have zero presence.
This is just whatever came to mind when I wrote this. Could go on for a while longer but I think that should give you a better idea.
